Established in 1981, Jin Yang has proudly served Kangaroo Flat and the surrounding community for decades. Under our current ownership since 2016, we continue to welcome guests with friendly service and Chinese food prepared in our own kitchen.
We’re also proud to have supported local events and activities over the years.
Our name
The meaning behind Jin Yang
Jin Yang comes from the Chinese characters 金阳. Jin (金) means gold, and yang (阳) means sun or sunshine. Together, the name evokes golden sunshine—warmth, brightness and good fortune. It reflects the welcoming spirit we hope to share with Kangaroo Flat and the surrounding community.
